Bronx duo Camp Lo have teamed up with the one and only Pete Rock to drop 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s (a mixtape series available as a full length). With the projects name paying homage to the BX gangs of the 70s, it’s only right that they bring it back to hip-hop’s essence in the video, graffiti, b-boys, rhymin’ on the project stairways, two turntables and a mic.
Pete Rock, whose production work helped define the 90s “golden age” is a rare exception. Rock’s one of the few musicians who made his name in the aggressively unflashy 90s East Coast sound who’s managed to stay continually relevant without capitulating to changing tastes.
80 Blocks from Tiffany's offers proof that amidst the expeditions rap music’s launching into new sonic territories like EDM, noisy psychedelia, and quasi-industrial music, the classic boom-bap stuff still has a place featuring Mac Miller, MOP, Ab-Soul, Talib Kweli and more...

Czarface is a hip-hop trio that pulls together the talents of Inspectah Deck, 7L and Esoteric. Remastered from the original tapes and pressed on loud double vinyl In 1995, fresh off the success of Nas's landmark debut album Illmatic the year prior, Columbia Records released Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerouz, the first LP by a relatively unknown Harlem MC named Big L. Few at the time would realize that Lifestylez — which was only a modest commercial success at the time - would go on to be considered a true classic of the era, comparable to Illmatic itself. Armed with a cocky Uptown attitude, a sharp wit and production from the likes of Lord Finesse, Buckwild and Showbiz, Big L established himself as one of New York's Hip Hop heavyweights with an album that balanced radio appeal with uncompromising hardcore lyricism. From the smooth sounds of 'M.V.P.' to raw posse cuts like '8 Iz Enuff' and 'Da Graveyard' (which featured a rookie MC from Brooklyn by the name of Jay-Z), Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerouz solidified Big L's status as a Hip Hop legend despite being the only studio album released prior to his tragic death in 1999. Traffic Entertainment is proud to release Big L's classic debut album in a double-LP pressing for the first time ever, with a fold-out poster featuring the iconic album cover included. SIDE A 1. Put It On 2. M.V.P. 3. No Endz, No Skinz SIDE B 4. 8 Iz Enuff 5. All Black 6. Danger Zone SIDE C 7. Street Struck 8. Graveyard 9. Lifestylez Ov da Poor and Dangerous SIDE D 10. I Don't Understand It 11. Fed up Wit the Bullshit 12. Let 'Em Have It 'L'

Fantastic, Vol. 1 is the first album by Detroit group Slum Village. It comprises songs from their demo album, which was recorded in 1996 and 1997, but not officially released until 8 years later. It was nonetheless leaked onto the underground circuit and caused "quite a stir" in 1997. The whole album was produced by J Dilla. Many of the songs would later be revamped or re-conceived for their follow up album, Fantastic, Vol. 2 in 2000. Check!
