Friends of the store - #2 Owen Finnie
Next up in our friends of the store feature, we profile someone who again has worked for us on & off since we opened in Plymouth five years ago - Owen Finnie.
Coming from a background deeply rooted in skateboarding, Owen is a real regular face within the store and amongst the independent business community within Plymouth. Having a keen taste in streetwear as well as always helping to push local culture, he’s been a real key figure of the store - either by working in the store, modelling garms or flexing his skills as a quality barista.
More recently Owen has been involved in setting up Pollenize CIC, a fantastic social enterprise, helping combat pollinator decline. Using a range of sciences, product design and most importantly the local community, Pollenize is something for both Owen and Plymouth to truly be proud of. With local businesses and the council firmly backing Pollenize, look out for their growing apiary network across Plymouth and of course, lots of happy pollinators.
